Had an errand to do on this busy street between rue Royale and the Madeleine and was surprised to find several covered galleries. The first was the prettiest with many interesting shops and a chic spot for lunch, Bar Le Passage (chef: Alain Senderens!!!)...

The champs Elysées dressed up for the holidays. Bottom view towards Place de la Concorde and the giant Ferris wheel, top shot towards the Arc de Triomphe. The lights twinkle and fall like rain. Very nice but I prefer Avenue Montaigne where the trees are...
